WHAT TO BRING

To ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we have compiled of list of suggested items for you to bring along with you. Some are considered essential, others are optional.

There are very limited options to purchase items on the mountain and what is available can be quite expensive so it’s best to bring everything you need with you when you come.

    ESSENTIALS:

  • Snow chains: If you are visiting during the White Season, all vehicles must carry snow chains. Fines apply if you are found to be without them! For more information on chain hire, please see this page.

  • Warm clothes: For White Season bookings, each person will need a waterproof outer layer (pants, jacket and gloves), boots, plenty of socks and some items to layer under your snow gear (thermals recommended). You can hire waterproof outerwear and boots on the mountain if required. Scarves and beanies are also great for keeping warm outdoors. For inside the lodge, we recommend you bring some comfy clothes, warm pyjamas and some slippers or ugg boots. Even in the summer months it can get quite cool overnight so make sure you bring some long-sleeved tops and pants.

  • Linen: sheets and/or a sleeping bag plus a pillowcase for each person. We provide, pillows, quilts (with covers) and lots of woollen blankets. All beds are standard single size except Room 1 which contains a double size bed. Linen packs are available for hire from Guest Services but must be ordered at the time you make your booking. The packs contain sheets, pillowcases, bath towel, hand towel, face washer and basic toiletries. For pricing please check with Resort Guest Services.

  • Towels and toiletries: liquid soap is provided at the hand basins but guests are required to provide their own shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/ toothpaste etc.

  • Food and drinks: If you wish to self cater, you will need to bring your own provisions for meals, drinks and snacks during your stay. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a large walk in pantry/ cold store, fridges and freezer, 2 large ovens, 3 sets of gas stove top burners, 2 microwaves, toaster and sandwich press, pots and utensils, glassware, crockery and cutlery. On mountain options for purchasing food and drinks include, Cafe 11, The Village Restaurant and the Skiosk.

    OPTIONAL:

  • Ski equipment- skis, snowboard and/or toboggan. Equipment is available for hire on the mountain from Mt Baw Baw Ski Hire. We highly recommend on mountain hire for the simple reason that if you have any issues with your gear, the hire store is right there to assist you with any swaps or adjustments you may need.

  • Washing machine powder/liquid- a top loader washing machine is available for guest use but you will need to bring your own detergent and softener. Washed items can be hung in our drying room to speed dry.

  • Coffee pods- we have an Espresso coffee machine and milk frother in our kitchen. Compatible pods can be purchased at Aldi.
